Interior Ministry Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Sunday ordered a major reshuffle in the FIA and police.
Sources said that the process has been ongoing ever since Nisar took over his portfolio.
As such success had not only been reported only in traffic operations of Islamabad, but even FIA has been staffed with honest and efficient officers, having an excellent professional record.
Sources deliberating the second phase have also disclosed that decision to reshuffle top slots of Islamabad IG, SSP and other staff from all ranks would commence within 10 days.
Reports of all police officials, including SHOs, supporting, conniving, sharing illegal activities such as liquor dealers and land mafia are also being sought.
The Interior minister had expressed his strong resolve to straighten out the traffic mess of Islamabad in one of his earlier press conferences, following which the traffic police have embarked on a well-planned and executed traffic plan for Islamabad.
