Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said his party would present a national policy plan in All-Parties Conference (APC) for eliminating terrorism and militancy from the country.

He said the issues of terrorism, energy crisis and economic stability should be the top priority of the government, he added.

Talking to PTV, Khan urged called for the political will to implement the recommendations of APC, saying conferences that were held in the previous regime remained meaningless.

He urged the government for dissociating the country from American war, adding that drone attacks in the Tribal Areas of the country were counter productive.

He opined that roots of terrorism needed to be identified for maintaining peace in the region.

“Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the area most-affected by terrorism,” he added, saying 70 percent business had been destroyed due to incidents of terrorism.

To a question, he said KP, the central government and the army should work collectively to device an anti-terrorism policy in the province.

“A number of police personnel and civilians across KP have lost their life in terrorist activities,” he added.

The PTI chief urged isolating various groups in the province that were creating unrest, adding that criminal and other elements were also involved in sabotaging peace.

He stressed the need for the government to take serious steps for depoliticising national institutions for the development of Pakistan, adding that the KP government would bring changes in the system within two months.

“The provincial government is committed to removing police and old colonial culture in the province,” he said, adding that government servants would be fined for not serving the public properly.

To another query regarding cases against Altaf Hussain in London, Khan denied any link with the matter, saying the British police was functioning under to its own rules and law.

After 11 years and over 40 thousand Pakistanis killed this politician still refers to it as "Americas war"….the word clueless comes to mind…when will he wake up and see the truth that there are almost no Americans on the ground in Pakistan… so who is doing all the bombing?…why does the history of the suicide bombers always lead back to madrasahs run by radical Islamists?…how many years will it take to wake up Pakistan to the truth about who their real enemy is…
