For the scientists it was vital besides research to attain expertise in the communication skills as well.
Speakers said this while addressing a workshop at the University of Karachi on Friday.
The theme of the moot was “Effective communication skills for scientific writing and presentation’.
Prof Dr Abid Azhar, Prof Dr Kalim Raza Khan, former vice-chancellor of Karachi University, Prof Dr SI Ali briefed the workshop participants.
They said that effective communication also proves beneficial towards the research work.
This would enable the scientists to present their research in an effective manner, they added.
