QUETTA – Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) president and renowned human rights activist, Asma Jehangir on Wednesday threatened to launch the countrywide protest campaign against what she called the “inaction” of the provincial government for the recovery of Balochistan lawyers who were missing for over one week. She was addressing a protest rally here on Wednesday organized by lawyers’ community against abduction of four lawyers and sacking of chief justice by Musharraf in 2007. She said that March 9 was remembered as a black day because former dictator Pervaiz Musharraf, in order to prolong his unconstitutional rule, had sacked the chief justice.
