Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s Chief Imran Khan on Tuesday announced to establish an independent accountability cell in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to ensure transparency in provincial governance.
The accountability cell would not function under the government, he added.
Talking to a private TV channel, Khan said KP had good potential for hydel power generation, adding that many small hydel stations could be set up to generate electricity on cheap rates in the province.
He said the provincial government would also utilise bio-gas to produce electricity for Peshawar city to meet its energy demand.
Khan said the PTI had conducted intra-party elections for strengthening democracy. “PTI is adopting a policy of tolerance and does not want to destabilise the system,” he added.
To a question, the PTI chief said son-in-law of KP CM was a political personality and his party had given ticket on merit.
He said the KP government had allocated 19 percent budget for the education sector.
Khan claimed the PTI government in KP would eliminate corruption from the province in 90 days.
He was of the view that the government should take difficult decision for the betterment of Pakistan, as the country was facing a number of challenges.
This is a step in right direction. PTI's Govt should act as a role model for other Provinces. Congratulations to PTI for taking a lead towards honesty.

He is on rite direction and KP under him would be role model for Pakistan and people who denied to vote him in election to say " He is not experienced" will figure out soon what Imran Khan is….soon everybody will see KP same like Dubai…Imran is our last hope and we are not hopeless yet.
Sohial, I agree with you totally-but disagree on the cause of losing. I STILL believe he lost due to MASSIVE rigging scandal played out by the Establishment & NS.

I have suggested before and again repeating my request.PTI must,at war footing,should initiate steps to eliminate " Aadhtee" i.e. midllemen so that food and grocery/fruits become cheaper and masses start feeling "the change has come."
PTI should also keep its promised deadline for City Govt and inform public on a regular basis(not after completion) which will bring some useful suggestions and people know that the matter in in active consideration by PTi.
PML(N) and specially are very good at Yellow journalism and Lifafa Journalism.PTI should evolve a strategy to counter them.
PTI shold start a campaign " tabdeeli nahin Aayee".
Exmple: 1)In what capacity Shahbaz has gone to China with NS.How about other CMs.
2) Why Shahbaz Sharif was there during NS meeting with Gen.Kayani
3) Who was standing next to Gen Waen(Chairman JCOS) in the oath taking ceremony.(It was his son-in-law).But why and in what capacity.
