A married woman on Saturday went berserk and stabbed her mother-in-law to death.
According to the police and residents of Qadirpur Ran, the woman killed her mother-in-law by repeatedly piercing a sharp-edged knife in her body after they were engaged in verbal dispute.
However, the angry woman was later overpowered and handed over to the police.
The police have started an investigation into the gory incident after registration of an FIR.
“The killer was not on good terms with her in-laws as she had been banished from residence three years ago,” local residents said.
