Caution: Water crisis ahead!

Non- provision of Rs 320 million out of allocated amount for Khanpur Dam Phase 3 has aggravated the threat of water crises in Cantonment. Details said that ruling federal government has not included the “Khanpur Dam Phase 3 Project” in the next fiscal year, which is the only continuous project of Cantt board. Moreover the finance division has refused to provide Rs 320 million allocated for this project. It is estimated that 0.2 million population will be affected due to delay in the project. Sources said that authorities of Cantt board have made efforts in obtaining funds but to no avail. Cantt board authorities said that they have to pay Rs 220 million to the contractor of the project while the work has been ceased. The board said that failure of provision of funds would lead to water shortage in Cantt area.

  3. Please don't be worried my dear turkish brother. We Pakistanis deserve this, we brought this and all other curses on ourselves. We are corrupt, we are non caring, we are slaves to our desires, we are not fit to be called muslims. The biggest indication of this are our leaders(you can see the reflection of a nation in the leader as is indicated in the Qur'an).
