Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday condemned the bomb attack targeting the Sindh High Court Justice Maqbool Baqar.
The MQM leader expressed grief at the loss of life in the incident, also slamming it as nothing more than an act of terrorism.
He said this assault on the caravan of a serving high court judge was an open challenge to the law enforcing authorities who must deal with these miscreants running amok.
Justice Baqar was injured in a blast aimed at his convoy on Burns road on Wednesday morning. Four others including an official of the Rangers paramilitary and policemen were among the dead.
The notorious Tehreeke Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for the attack.
