Provincial Minister for Anti-Corruption Mines and Mineral Development Manzoor Hussain Wassan here Tuesday said that no dereliction would be tolerated in the anti-corruption department.
He said this while presiding over a meeting of senior officials of the department. The minister said the required action would be initiated against those showing bad performance. He asked the officials to present their performance to date in writing and there should be details about the cases taken up so far. Wassan made it clear that he had accepted this portfolio as a challenge. He further pointed out that he would himself monitor the performance of the officials. The directors of the department briefed the minister about their respective sections.
