The new government makes its move!

• Replaces 41 officers installed by the caretaker government

The much awaited reshuffle in the provincial bureaucracy has finally taken place with large scale transfer and posting orders replacing those installed by the caretaker setup.

Those transferred and posted include secretaries, commissioners and DCOs and number around 41 officers.

Imdadullah Bosal, awaiting posting in the S&GAD, has been posted as Lahore commissioner replacing Capt. (r) Nasim Nawaz, who has been directed to report to the S&GAD till further orders. Moreover Imdadullah would have additional charge of Lahore Ring Road Authority chairperson.

According to the notification, Housing Secretary Mirza Sohail Amir has been transferred and posted as additional chief secretary Punjab against a vacant post. Irfan Ali, Officer on Special Duty (OSD), has been posted as Industries & Commerce Investment secretary vice Dr Shujat Ali, already transferred, and has been directed to report the S&GAD till further orders.

C&W Secretary Major (r) Azam Suleman has been transferred and posted as Home secretary against a vacant post. Livestock and Dairy Development Secretary Irfan Elahi has been transferred and posted as P&D chairman against a vacant post. He would have also additional charge of project director (PMU) Land Record Computerisation Board of Revenue, while additional charge of P&D Chairman has been taken back from P&D Secretary Arif Anwar Baloch.

OSD Jawad Rafique Malik has been posted as Local Government secretary while Faisalabad Division Commissioner Dr Ejaz Munir has replaced Agriculture Secretary Azmat Ali Ranjah, who has been made OSD.

Faisalabad DCO Najam Shah would have additional charge of the office of Commissioner Faisalabad till further order. I&C Secretary Farhan Aziz Khawaja has been transferred and posted as Higher Education secretary vice Aslam Kamboh, already transferred and posted as secretary Food. Member Judicial Board of Revenue Anwar Rashid has replaced Capt (r) Sher Alam Mahsood, who has been made OSD.

PUNJMIN Managing Director Capt (r) Asadullah Khan has replaced Bahawalpur Commissioner Hamid Yaqoob Sheikh who has been made OSD. Punjab Privatisation Board Chairman Mohammed Amin has been transferred and posted as DG Khan Commissioner vice Maqsood Ahmed who has been directed to report the S&GAD till further orders.

Programme Director (PMU) Health Sector Reforms Programme Firasat Iqbal has been transferred and posted as Muzaffargarh DCO replacing Qazi Zafar Iqbal who also has been made OSD.

Home Department Additional Secretary Iftikhar Ali Sahu has replaced Sialkot DCO Shakil Ahmed who has been directed to report to the S&GAD. Rahimyar Khan DCO Khalid Salim has been transferred and posted as Lodhran DCO vice Tariq Mahmood, Punjab Food Director Capt. (r) Mohammed Usman as DCO Rahimyar Khan while Higher Education additional secretary has replaced Sargodha DCO Waqas Ali who has been made OSD.

Sargodha ACE Director Javed Iqbal Bokhari has been transferred and posted as Kasur DCO vice Khalid Mahmood Sheikh who has been made OSD. Faisalabad ACE Director Mirza Mahmoodul Hassan has replaced Jhelum DCO Maqbool Ahmed who has been directed to report to the S&GAD.

Punjab Cooperative Societies Joint Registrar Mian Ibrar Ahmed has been transferred and posted as Mianwali DCO replacing Dr Ahmed Javed Qazi who has been made OSD. Health Department Additional Secretary Usman Moazzam has replaced Khanewal DCO Mahmood Hassan who also has been made OSD.

Additional Programme Director (PMU) Education Sector Reforms Programme Sardar Saifullah Dogar has been transferred and posted as Okara DCO vice Ahsan Bhutta who has been directed to report the S&GAD. Syed Najaf Iqbal has replaced Narowal DCO Mohammed Yasrab who also has been made OSD. Lahore Datta Gunj Bakhsh Town TMO Ashfaq Hussain has been transferred and posted as Faisalabad PHA Managing Director.
