Pakistani lawyer grabs an international position

Centre for Law and Policy Director and University of Management Technology (UMT) Associate Professor Syed Imad Asad has been elected an associate member of the International Academy of Comparative Law in the academy’s 2013 elections.

Imad is the first Pakistani who has been elected for the position. He holds an LLM from Harvard and works as an advocate at the Lahore High Court.

The academy, which was established in Netherlands, aspires to excel in the comparative study of law and legal systems from across the globe.
