The Department of Excise and Taxation Rawalpindi (DET) has decided to computerise all property tax records and conduct land surveys all over the city from July 1. Details said that orders have been received by Department of Excise and Taxation in this regard while staff for computerisation of record has been put in place.
Sources said that computerisation of new property tax record would facilitate recovery of tax keeping in mind the flourishing real estate market.
