PML-N MPA held responsible for scuffle with bus hostess

The committee formed by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has declared Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Nighat Sheikh responsible for humiliating a bus hostess while travelling from Sargodha to Lahore.
The committee led by Additional Inspector General (Discipline) Dr Muhammad Rizwan has endorsed the initial report from police indicting Nighat as the initiator of the scuffle with the bus hostess.
“It was her who slapped Iqra Nawaz and then uttered abusive words and later on get sarcastic with fellow travellers on the bus,” it said.
The committee recommends withdrawal of case lodged against Iqra as there was no evidence to support the case of Nighat.
The PML-N has already suspended the female MPA’s party membership a few days back; however, the future action is not yet clear.
