The London Metropolitan police on Tuesday conducted raids on two homes in northwest London in connection with Dr Imran Farooq’s murder investigation.

According to sources, no arrests were made in the search operation conducted by the Anti-Terrorism Command of the police.

Dr Imran Farooq was stabbed to death by unknown assailants in front of his residence in central London in September 2010.

The murder probe is being taken forward with the help of seven CCTV footages coupled with other evidence, they said.
