Seven Pakistani universities in ‘Asia top 250’

Pakistan achieved another landmark in education as seven universities have been included in Asia’s top 250 universities.
According to a largest independent and bilingual news website, three universities are in top 200.
Higher Education Commission Chairman Javed Leghari praised the success and said, “The better we deliver in universities the better we can achieve as a nation.”
Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad (QAU) tops the chart with 119th position among Top Asian Universities. QAU has been ranked number 1 throughout Pakistan by higher education commission (HEC).
The National University of Science and Technology (NUST), the Karachi University (KU), the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), the Punjab University (PU), the Agha Khan University (AKU), the University of Technology Lahore (UoTL) are other top Pakistani universities.

  1. Of course it should be a cause for embarrassment. Our top university ranks 119th in Asia.
