Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Sunday reiterated need of dialogue with militants but ruled out negotiations with elements who carried out attacks on women and hospitals.
Talking to reporters in a joint news conference with Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch, Nisar said that restoration of peace in Balochistan was the priority of the government.
He asserted that Baloch and Pashtun values do not allow attacks on children and women even during wars.
The minister said despite great threats, he and Pervaiz Rasheed reached Quetta to show solidarity with the people of Balochistan.
Nisar said the prime minister has called an important meeting on Balochistan issue on May 20 in Islamabad, adding that important decisions would be taken in the meeting.
He said if provincial government approved and recommended, the federal government was ready to take responsibility of security in the province.
Nisar vowed to restore Quaid-e-Azam Residency in minimum time period in its original shape.
Dr Abdul Malik Baloch said the PM remained in constant contact with him during the five-hour long operation at Bolan Medical Complex.
Baloch said protection of people was his government’s priority.
The CM stressed the need for waging a collective struggle for providing security to the people and development of Balochistan.
Earlier, Nisar, Pervaiz Rashid, Senator Hasil Bizenjo and Jam Mir Kamal visited the Ziarat Residency and were briefed about the damages caused by the terrorists.

  1. PML-N was the pattern of the militant outfits like the LeJ/SSP and the LeT. Rana Sanaullah was a formar SSP loyalist. How can this party now go against these coward militants? There should be absolutely NO PEACE deal with these murderers.
