Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) central leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday said that millions of Pakistanis were shocked over the Quaid-e-Azam’s residency’s bombing by militants in Balochistan while addressing a ceremony held in the honor of PML-N workers at Kot Abdul Malik Road, Shahdara.
He also spoke about the Bolan Medical Complex incident, saying that the female medical students who were targeted in Quetta were the nation’s daughters.
He said that such negative elements should be awarded exemplary punishment so that no one would dare play with people’s lives and sentiments in this manner ever again.
He added that efforts were being made to include Balochistan in mainstream politics, holding that Prime Minister (PM) Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had allowed a nationalist party to form government in the province despite a PML-N majority following the polls.
Nawaz Sharif had asked Hamza Shahbaz Sharif to visit all constituencies individually to thank the party workers for their cooperation and hard work during elections and today’s function was held for the workers of NA-118 and PP-142.
Member National Assembly Riaz Malik, MPA Kh. Imran Nazir, Samiullah Khan, Rana Iqbal and many party workers were present.
Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that the party workers had helped tremendously in PML-N’s sweeping victory, and expressed confidence that they would support the PM to steer the country out of its problems.
He informed that the PM is busy consulting experts to deal with electricity load-shedding and terrorism.
Hamza said that the practical cooperation of all parties is required for solving the Balochistan issue, adding that like other provinces, the Baloch had rights to the national wealth.
He notified that Nawaz Sharif is implementing a comprehensive policy for Balochistan’s progress and prosperity with the help of mega projects like Gawadar Port.
