Old rivalry claims four lives

At least four persons including two children were killed while four others sustained injuries over an old enmity between rival clans in Jamshoro on Saturday.

According to sources, a clash between rival clans turned violent when armed men targeted their opponents and ultimately gunned down Ghulam Muhammad, Ghulam Sarwer, Ali Hassan and a woman, Khadeja.

Apart from this, four girls Rooma, Sohna, Azra and Gurya were hurt and rushed to a nearby hospital for first aid. According to police, the deceased woman Khudeja’s husband, Haq Nawaz, had an enmity with other tribe whose armed men barged into the house of Khudeja and gunned down innocent people to settle their score with the rivals. Following the incident, police reached the site of occurrence and shifted bodies to hospital for post-mortem while the critically injured were referred to Hyderabad hospital.
