Minister for Health and Information Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shaukat Ali Yousafzai has said that Rs. 320 million in respect of salaries of Lady Health Workers (LHWs) of the province have been released by government.
Talking to media, he said the Chief Minister has released the funds under 18th constitutional amendment.
The federal government blocked salaries of LHWs, who were working under the federal funded program in various healthcare institutions of province.
He revealed that the health budget has been increased from Rs. 7 billion to 8 billion.
