The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has demanded Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad be replaced over what it said the poor law and order of the province with particular reference to Karachi, a private TV channel reported on Tuesday.
Addressing an all parties conference (APC) held under the banner of the JI at its headquarters, JI Secretary General Liaquat Baloch questioned as to why the governor of Sindh was not being replaced when governors of all other provinces were being changed.
PPP leader Taj Haider alleged that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had breached the law by conducting new delimitations in Karachi. Irregularities were also witnessed in electoral lists, he added.
The PPP and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) also attended the APC.
JI is right, Sindh Governor should be replaced by a sincere person, it is more than 10 years now doing nothing for common people.
