City District Government Lahore (CDGL) in collaboration with UNICEF has set up a polio vaccination camp at the Lahore Zoo.
A number of families got their children vaccinated against polio at the Zoo.
A Zoo official said that almost 150 children under five years of age were vaccinated on Monday.
Suzi, the Zoo’s elephant, has been trained to give brochures to visitors during the three-day camp. Lahore Zoo administration said the step has been taken in line with the national policy for eradication of polio.
