Rawal Town’s Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) in an anti encroachments operation confiscated two truckloads of goods, while 72 shopkeepers were fined.
According to the Rawal Town TMA spokesman, the TMA enforcement staff under Regulation Town Officer Abid Hussain Malik, Superintendent Haji Pervaiz Mughal and other inspectors’ supervision conducted raids at Murree Road, Sadiqabad, Muslim Town, Liaquat Road, Iqbal Road, Raja Bazaar, Bara Bazaar, Jamia Masjid Road, Saidpur Road, Commercial Market, Khabian-e-Sir Syed and Gunj Mandi.
He said that action and raids agains encroachments were being conducted on RawalTown administrator’s directives.
The regulation town officer urged trade union representatives to cooperate with the TMA administration in removing all the encroachments. No leniency would be showed to violators.
