Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafiq said on Saturday that tackling the energy crisis would be the newly elected government’s top priority while talking to the media outside the Parliament House.
He said that the PML-N was working vigorously to solve the energy crisis. “We have discussed several long and short term projects to overcome the power load shedding issue,” he explained.
He said that Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had explained his policy on drone attacks, adding that the PML-N’s stance on the issue had not changed.
Saad Rafiq said that drone attacks were promoting extremism, adding that the international community, particularly the United States (US) should understand Pakistan’s perspective on the issue.
To a question, he said that the masses would notice a clear difference between the governance of the PML-N and the previous government.
He said that in the past, the PML-N played a constructive role as the opposition and avoided the politics of agitation, adding that his party’s leadership was determined to overcome all the crises being faced by the country.
