The students and educational circles have demanded the authorities concerned to extend the last date of registration for IX exam under Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) to 1st of September.
The students said that the board authorities had set May 17th as last date for IX exams registration but website of the educational board could not be functional despite the lapse of many days after the due date. Eventually, hundreds of students could not complete the registration within the due date and their one educational year is on stake.
Moreover, the teachers, students and parents said that the educational board has completely failed in facilitating the students in the registration process as the online system, created for the ease of the students and teachers, troubled for them due to inefficiency of the educational board authorities.
Meanwhile, the All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association has announced that if the RBISE did not extended the registration date, all private schools of the division would end affiliation with the Rawalpindi educational board and affiliate with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE).
Criticising the wrong policies of Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen, president of the association said the Punjab Information Technology had received millions of rupees from the educational boards of the province to develop the online system but the system proved to be a total failure.
