A person sustained serious injuries on Wednesday for resisting robbers near Akbar Chowk.
According to the Township Police, Naveed Kashif and his sister were travelling on a motorcycle when two armed robbers intercepted them and looted cash, mobile phones and gold ornaments worth Rs 50,000.
The outlaws opened fire at Naveed when he resisted, causing serious injuries. He was shifted to ServicesHospital in critical condition.
The police have registered case against the unidentified miscreants.
