The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Saturday launched an operation against illegal stalls and encroachments outside shops parking areaa, confiscating five trucks of material.
On CDA Municipal Administration Directorate (DMA) Director Hamza Shafqat’s directive, Assistant Director Imdad Hussain and other staff conducted the operation in F-6/4 at Abbas Market and confiscated goods of ten shops.
Shafqat claimed that notices had been issued to all these shopkeepers several times previously for removing the encroachments, but to no avail.
Meanwhile, operations were also launched in Aabpara market, Iram Café, Ali Baba restaurant and a medical store, and all encroachment items confiscated.
