Justice Tasadduq Hussain Jilani will take oath as the acting chief election commissioner (CEC) on Monday.
Sources said that Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Chaudhry will administer the oath at 9am here in the Supreme Court.
Present CEC Fakhruddin G Ibrahim will leave on a foreign visit on Monday. Jilani has been appointed as the acting CEC to run the office in the absence of Ibrahim.
