Nawaz starts working on strategy to fix load shedding crisis

Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday presided over a meeting on measures to address the country’s energy and financial crises.

Over 25 experts also attended the meeting in Raiwind to consider strategies to resolve the two most pressing issues facing the country.

The meeting also discussed options such as construction of dams and other short and long term measures to address the country’s power crisis.

PML-N’s Punjab President Shahbaz Sharif, party leaders Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Khawaja Asif and Ahsan Iqbal, and others, including Shaukaat Tareen were present at the meeting.

The meeting comes days after PML-N secured the highest number of seats in Pakistan’s National Assembly elections with Nawaz Sharif to take oath as prime minister.

The party has repeatedly stated that it would address the issue of energy crisis and also declared economy as the most challenging issue confronting the country.

  1. The strategy is as clever and simple as it was rigging recently.Plan is being implimented already through corrupt but loyal to PML N employees of power supply companies down to SDO. Till PML N govt is installed do maximum unauthorised closure of Grid Stations,be erratic espcially where PMLN did not get populer vote like NA 125 and PP 156.Then lo and behold the day PMLN govt is installed within 24 hrs loadshedding routine will be strictly observed with reduced outages.People stupid they are, will give credit to the Mians.

I'm not going to get into the finger pointing but what I would ask the Sharifs is to look into the people and companies who owe million and billions in bills,that includes the Pakistani government.There has to be accountability in paying electric bills,paying taxes,until the government does that,there is no moving forward,how do they plan to pay for everything if there is no money coming in????????????????? And lets not forget the loans that have to be pad.

  4. as resently dr abdul qadeer said that i can end the loadshedding withen six months so if nawas sharif talk with abdul qadeer on the topic of loadshedding for the sake of country then it will not be bad.while we pakistani also want that if nawas sharif offer dr qadeer for the post of president than the poularity of pml n and it will spread agood imression among the people of pakistan

    impression among the people
