Police Lines traffic wardens were directed on Monday by City Traffic Officer (CTO) Abdul Razzaq Cheema and Rawalpindi Chief Traffic Officer Syed Ishtiaq Hussain to follow traffic laws and departmental rules to avoid losing their job.
They told the wardens that if they were found misbehaving with any citizen or violating traffic laws, they would face immediate termination.
Moreover, the wardens have also been barred from standing in groups, using mobile phones while on duty. They were warned that their mobile phones would be confiscated.
