NEPRA increases power tariff by Rs 5.80 per unit

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Friday approved an increase in the power tariff by Rs 5.80 per unit for commercial and industrial sectors.

Per details, after vacation of a stay order‚ NEPRA issued a notification for the recovery of fuel adjustment charges on electricity bills from August, 2012 to March this year.

NEPRA however clarified that there was no increase in the tariff for domestic consumers.

  2. This is not a IMF fault, one single party destroyed Pakistan & thats PPP. Raja Rental is enjoying the money while the country is without electricity, hes stolen enough money to run generators 24/7.
