Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s (PTI) mandate will hurt peace process in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

PTI emerged as the leading party with 35 seats in the restive province whilst JUI-F managed to win 13 seats.

Speaking to reporters after meeting US envoy Richard Olson here on Friday, Falzur Rehman termed the alleged rigging as an attempt to sabotage peace process in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

To a question, he said that JUI-F’s central executive committee (CECI) would decide on PML-N’s offer to join central government.

  1. This Maulana is not only fake but is also utterly incompetent. What he is ignoring, or at least pretending to ignore, is that the clear majority of PTI in KPK shows that people have shown their faith in that party.

  2. Maulana Sahib cannot survive sitting in opposition, that is why he jumped from PPP to Nawaz League soon after the elections. What a character!!!! Mind you he is also a religious leader (so called). What kind of a role model can he be to the students of his Madarasa? A turn-court, hungry for government support so that to indulge in all kinds of illegal acts and get away with it.
