Approximately, 10 more dengue cases have been confirmed in the metropolis during the past one week.
According to Sindh Dengue Surveillance Cell, the dwellers of Gulistan-e-Johar, Shah Faisal Colony, Malir and Baldia Town claimed that the thickly populated areas have not received any anti-mosquito spray teams for a long time on account of which the number of mosquitoes in the area had increased manifold.
The cell claimed that10 cases of dengue have so far been verified during one week. Moreover, a total 98 cases of dengue affected patients have been confirmed from January to May, it informed.
