Fazlur Rehman, chief of his own faction of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), on Monday said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had to do a lot to fulfill people’s expectations.
In a statement issued, Fazl said that people were facing numerous problems, including inflation, poverty, load shedding and unemployment.
He said the PML-N had been given mandate to resolve the problems, adding that it was a big challenge as people had pinned hope with the PML-N.
The cleric said that it was matter of satisfaction that polling across the country was held in a peaceful manner for which countrymen deserve congratulations.
However, the JUI-F chief urged the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for holding polling again in the constituencies where complaints and proofs of rigging were received.
