Different political parties have started throwing out tentacles for the formation of government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) right after the mist cleared about party positions in the province.
Having emerged as the largest party in the province, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) began liaising with like-minded parties to lead the coalition government in the province. On the other side, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) also looked to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) for the government formation.
Falling short of simple majority, PTI underscored that it would prefer sitting in the opposition, but it would not opt for horse trading for the purpose of government formation. However, the party will seek support for the purpose from the parties in sync with the PTI’s manifesto and agenda, according to PTI General Secretary Shaukat Yousufzai,
The JUI-F, seeking to poke hurdles in PTI’s way ahead, is attempting an alliance with the PML-N to drive its way into the corridors of power.
Allah tests him bitterly who has to be given a bigger responsibility and KP is by all means a most difficult province to be governed. Allah has given us the opportunity to create a new KP before being tested at the national level. Just pray to God that we live up to the expectations of KP people with our performance.
Inshallah!
It will be wise for PMLN to let PTI form government in KPK. It will provide PMLN to have an eye on PTI governance and on the other hand people will be after PTI to see them fulfill their promises and high claims made during the election campaign. PMLN should avoid unneccessary interference in the matters of other parties as they have heaps of problems to solve. PMLN should move and administer country's affairs wisely to take people out of mess Zardari & Co has left.
