MQM will move SC after polls: Sattar

MQM Deputy Convener Rabita Committee Dr Farooq Sattar has said his party will go to the Supreme Court against the delimitation of constituencies in Karachi after the elections.
Addressing a news conference in on Thursday‚ he said the MQM was being subjected to terrorist attacks. He alleged that efforts were underway to steal its mandate in Karachi. He said due to terror threats, the MQM could not run its election campaign; however, it won’t boycott the upcoming elections.
He said six terrorist attacks had already been carried out on the party’s elections offices. Besides‚ candidates and workers of the party were attacked in different areas of Karachi during the election campaign, he added.
Dr Farooq Sattar said defeated elements were hatching conspiracies against the MQM, however, the party will not boycott elections. Sattar said the MQM would again contact Supreme Court after polls to seek review in Karachi delimitation case.
