Police gun down 3 wanted target killers

The Karachi Police in collaboration with the Lahore Police raided a house in Lahore’s Satukatla area on Wednesday to arrest three wanted killers from Karachi.

According to reports, the police reached the house on a tip-off regarding the presence of the three wanted criminals there.

When the criminals saw the police, they opened fire at them, in which three police constables, Irshad, Asadullah, and Azam were injured. Later, they fled.

The injured constables were taken to JinnahHospital, where Irshad and Asad succumbed to their injuries.

Meanwhile, the police chased and managed to catch them in Kahna. The criminals again opened fire at the policemen, who retaliated, killing the three target killers.

SSP Rana Abdul Jabar told Pakistan Today that two criminals were identified as Allamgir and Asif Baloch Niazi. However, he added that the third one could not be identified.

He said the criminals were suspected in more then 50 cases of targeted killings in Karachi and were also involved in cases of kidnapping, robberies and murders.

Jabar said the criminal’s bodies were taken to the morgue for the postmortem.

Moreover, he added that the criminals were also wanted by the Lahore police in many cases.
