Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has alleged that several corrupt and incapable candidates were in the race for assemblies due to non-implementation of Article 63 of the constitution.
Speaking at a press conference at TMQ secretariat on Wednesday, he said his demands had not been followed in the election process.
He alleged that returning officers had not asked any question about Article 63 from candidates, adding that corrupt people had been allowed to contest elections.
He alleged that several chiefs of political parties were defaulters of billions of rupees.
Qadri expressed his apprehension that the worst horse-trading was expected after the elections so his party would record its protest through sit-ins on May 11.
Agreed cent per cent with Dr. Qadri. The same old, corrupt lot is expected back in assemblies who are good only in making money for themselves and their families and building businesses and palaces outside Pakistan.
