ISLAMABAD – To educate and train local general practitioners (GPs) and specialists about the latest clinical research on asthma and related diseases, Dr Andrew Greening, an international asthma expert and researcher from the University of Edinburgh held an informative and interactive session here on Friday.
In addition to being president-elect of the British Thoracic Society, Dr Greening is an active member of the European Respiratory Society and the American Thoracic Society, and a former president of the Scottish Thoracic Society.
He is also the Pulmonary Diseases chairman at Edinburgh University.
The session was titled “Asthma Management Today and Tomorrow.” A large number of specialists in asthma attended the training session.
