The Islamabad Pakhtoon Association and Lok Virsa National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage are collaborating on a live cultural show featuring leading Pashto artists today between 4 and 7 pm at the Lok Virsa open air theatre.
Lok Virsa Executive Director Khalid Javaid said that the event aims to promote the rich culture and music of Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwa and features cultural dances and performances by Said Alam, Saima Gul, Saif Khan, Raj Wali Marwat and Dildar Khan, the comedian.
“Lok Virsa, as a federal cultural organization, has always tried to give equal representation to all federating units in the documentation and preservation of their indigenous folk heritage. This musical night is also a step forward in this direction”, he added.
