The International Firefighters’ Day will be observed today. On this day, the world honors the brave sacrifices of firefighters everywhere. International Firefighter’s Day was instituted following an email proposal that circled the globe which highlighted the heroic deaths of 5 Australian firefighters on January 4, 1999.
