The Awami National Party and the Pakistan People’s Party have been threatened to remove their party flags in Peshawar.

Pamphlets have been distributed threatening both the parties, called themselves liberal and secular parties, to limit their electoral activities.

“Three days has been given to the parties to remove their flags from the city,” locals said.

Both of the parties are running election campaigns in the province with alleged threats from the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
