Pakistan has ruled out the possibility that Indian death row prisoner Sarabjit Singh could be sent abroad for his treatment.
In a statement on Monday, the Foreign Office said that Singh, who is under treatment in Lahore’s Jinnah Hospital after being beaten by fellow inmates in Kot Lakhpat Jail, will not be sent abroad for treatment nor can Indian doctors be given access to him.
A panel of Pakistani experts has been formed for medical treatment of the Indian terrorist convicted for a bomb blast in Pakistan killing several Pakistanis 23 years ago.
On Sunday, his family members met him at the hospital.
