Train escapes disaster in Sindh

Hazara Express escaped disaster after a blast occurred at the main railway track near Bakhshu Jamali in the jurisdiction of Kandhar police station on Sunday.
According to police, a piece of four feet long railway track was blown up as a result of blast, which occurred at the main railway track near Bakhshu Jamali near Nawabshah.
The train escaped the disaster as it was late, the police said, adding that all passenger and cargo trains were stopped at different stations.
The blast site was immediately cordoned off by police and Bomb Disposal Squad was called to clear the scene. Later, the BDS checked the railway track and cleared it. The railway maintenance staff immediately started repair work and it took two hours to resume the normal rail traffic.
