Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf announced on Saturday that the party has cancelled its public rally in Karachi scheduled on May 1 citing security concerns, a private television channel reported.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan was scheduled to address the rally.
A PTI spokesman said that rally has been cancelled due to worsening law and order situation.
Karachi has seen three major terrorist attacks targeting MQM and ANP this week in which over a dozen people died.

he is canceling b/c he doesn't want his supporters to be killed. he is not doing this for himself
also, ppp is dec security and allowing these attacks to happen so ik does not start a tsunami in karachi. ppp= dirty politcians. tsunami will still reach karachi

Why Imran Khan? You are supposed to be so brave and all of them are your friends. Punjabi Taliban are your voters. They have included on MQM, NAP and PPP on their hit list. They declare it. You Imran have no fears and stakes. You can cancel your rally with some other political considerations.

No doubt this is good decision regarding security of public after viewing Karachi situation.But no body is noting that if same would have happens in Punjab he put blames of sharifs but in Karachi he has no courage to point finger on Altaf bhai and his supporting country UK for such dirty game plans.Oh yes one cant speak against his country of his sons and ex in laws and brother in law too,

It is silly of PTI to cancel karachi rally. Why would TTP attack their cheer leader and clean-shaven version of themselves, imran khan?

Good decision by PTI, however we will have to face these animals, whether PPP, MQM or TTP everywhere anyway, so we should have gone ahead and shown these rats, who pakistan really belongs to.

Karachi is in grip of manufactured tsunami. It is an opportune time for Imran Khan to fish in tsunami. Cancelling meeting in Karachi may prove a big mistake.

Allah only helps those who help themselves first, it is high time, people of karachi united together against a common enemy, who intends to destroy our nation and take us back to the dark ages, and if all of karachi stood together as one, i am sure these barbarians would be driven out in no time.
Majority people who are laughing are those whom relative didnot died in karachi bomb blasts. Every person is important regardless of party. Wise decision PTI.
