Citizen’s turned violent in a protest against power and water outages and damaged public property after blocking Walton Road on Tuesday. The protestors chanted slogans against the government for its inefficiency to cater to the demand of the citizens.
Separately, Lahore District Coordination Officer (DCO) Rizwan Mehboob has asked WAPDA officials to stop unannounced load shedding of electricity and share the load management plan of all grid stations with the DCO office. Mehboob expressed these views while presiding over a meeting of the District Load Management Committee at the DCO office on Tuesday morning.
