103 people killed in Lal Masjid operation: report

The Lal Masjid Commission report which has been made public on the directives of the Supreme Court has verified from reports, claims and volunteer witnesses and media reports that 103 persons were killed in Lal Masjid operation.
The one-man commission on Lal Masjid-Jamia Hafsa operation, comprising of Justice Shahzado Shaikh, the Federal Shariat Court judge, worked on eight terms of Reference including how many persons, if any, male or female, civilian or law enforcement agencies personnel lost their lives in the Jamia Hafsa-Lal Majsid (JHLM) operation.
The 304-page document said that of 103 persons 92 were civilians and 11 belonged to security forces. Among the 92 civilians casualties 76 bodies were traced/identified, whereas 16 bodies remained unidentified. The commission verifies that no other claim of any killing could be brought in front of the commission.
On page 142 of the report it is verified that 103 persons died in JHLM and no woman was killed.
Report says number of persons who died in the incident of Jamais Hafsa remained an enigma which remained shrouded in history. During the proceedings before Supreme Court of Pakistan from 8 July 2007 to 4 Dec 2012, different reports were submitted regarding no of casualties in front of the SC.
The commission summoned record of those killed from all govt departments and agencies, verified claims and statements from volunteers.
The task before the commission was to analyse these reports and verify claims and reports.

  1. Now what about the pack of lies sold by religious parties for last six years that hundreds of girl students and female teachers were killed in the operation — ub tayra kiya hu ga kaalia !

  2. on thing is unanswered in report that 92 innocent people in lal masjid and jamia hafsa were killed by security forces then who killed 11 SSG personals???

  3. SSG commandos are highly trained and if 11 of them were killed than there must be some trained people in the masjid or may be our SSG's are not that prepared
