The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday rejected the appeal of former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf against the rejection of his nomination papers for Karachi’s NA-250.
Advocate Khawaja Naveed appeared on behalf of Musharraf before the three-member bench comprising Justice Maqbool Baqar, Justice Abdur Rasool Memon and Justice Farooq Shah. Naveed contended that his client had not been convicted in any case so far.
After hearing the arguments of both sides, the bench rejected the appeal and upheld the decision of the election tribunal.
What I don't understand is that why is Musharraf not allowed to contest elections if he is "accused" of something but yet all the other big politicians are also "accused" but yet they are allowed to contest elsections? Most of the other politicians are not only accused but they have also been found guilty but yet they are allowed. SC is a joke and the judges should be working as clowns at a circus.
Another vengeful verdict by the Judicial Mafia
