The Pakistan People’s Party and the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid agreed on seat adjustment and announced the names of their candidates from Khanewal district for election 2013 on Sunday.
According to party sources, for NA-156 Khanewal-I, former state minister, Barrister Raza Hayat Hiraj will be the candidate of both parties and his rival candidate, former national assembly speaker Fakhar Imam, is likely to contest elections from the PML-N for this constituency .
For NA-157, Khanewal-II, Sardar Hamid Yar Hiraj, former ERRA chairman has been finalised as the candidate for the PML-Q and the PPP, while Rana Muhammad Saleem has been announced as the candidate for PP-214 and former district nazim Sardar Ahmad Yar Hiraj for PP-215.
