A policeman was gunned down by unidentified armed assailants in Quetta on Friday.
According to police, the gunmen riding a motorbike opened fire on the policeman near Chaki Shahwani area on Seriab Road. As a result, he received multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot.
The body was taken to civil hospital where the deceased was identified as Habibullah.
Later, his body was handed over to the heirs after legal formalities.
Police are looking into the matter.
