PPP leader Aitzaz Ahsan has held judiciary equally responsible for former president Pervaiz Musharraf’s self-exile.

Aitzaz, while talking to the media in front of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday, said the judiciary should have taken a suo motu notice when Musharraf left the country. He said Musharraf’s role was like ‘old newspapers which have no worth in readers’ sight’. He said Musharraf was ‘a thing of the past and had nothing to do with the current situation’.

He added that it would have been even impossible for Quaid-e-Azam to meet the criteria of Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution.
